Very sad news to report from the City of Lake Shore:  Councilmember Vicki LaMere was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease in December.  This is a terrible disease with no known cure.  Vicki is currently in the Crosby Care Center in Crosby, MN.    A caring bridge site has been set up for her- follow this link:  http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/vickilamere

Monthly City Council meetings are held  the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Lake Shore City Hall, on Interlachen Road. Special meetings are published in the Lake Country Echo and posted on the Bulletin Board outside City Hall.
