NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY OTHER ELECTRONIC MEANS

REGARDING PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENTS

FOR THE 2020 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the coronavirus pandemic, the City Council of the City of Lake Shore, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing at a meeting of the Council beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, to be held by using ZOOM, on the proposal that the City abate property taxes levied by the City on the properties identified as tax parcel numbers (the "Properties"):

The total amount of the taxes proposed to be abated by the City on the Properties for up to a 15-year period is estimated to be not more than $2,112,948. The City Council will consider the property tax abatement to assist in financing the construction of various street improvements in connection with the 2020 Street Reconstruction Project located in the City.

The City proposes to issue General Obligation Tax Abatement Bonds in the amount not to exceed $2,100,000 to finance the project.


All persons interested in participating in the public hearing may present their views orally by using the ZOOM Application. The ZOOM Application can be downloaded from https://www.zoom.us/. The application is free to use. Members of the public are encouraged to download the program in advance of the meeting and to familiarize themselves so that there is no delay in access. To join the meeting, members of the public should use Meeting ID: 865 5210 5210. Members of the public may also participate in the meeting via telephone without downloading the ZOOM application by calling +1 312 626 6799 and entering meeting identification number 865 5210 5210. Otherwise, members of the public may present their views in writing to Lake Shore City Hall, 8583 Interlachen Road, Lake Shore, Minnesota 56468-8700, and the writing will be made a part of the public record.
